Damage-free technique development for diamond surface planarization to replace traditional polishing (Energy Saving Device Development Group)
Prof. Norio Tokuda, Associate Prof. Tsubasa Matsumoto, Assistant Prof. Xufang Zhang in the Energy Saving Device Development Group, Mr. Kazuto Sakauchi (during his master period in Graduate school of Natural Science & Technology, Kanazawa University), in collaboration with our group’s Prof. Christoph E. Nebel, CEO of Diamond and Carbon Application, Germany, have successfully developed the damage-free surface planarization technique based on carbon solid solution into nickel to replace the traditional polishing.
This team’s study published in “Diamond & Related Materials”.
